Testing the Hypothesis, Part 2

  1. Opportunity: lack of international food in Gainesville, FL. There are a lot of international people living in Gainesville, but still, it is really hard to find food from another country.
  2. Interviews
    1. Lucas, University of Florida: He said that he did not know about the need, he is from America, so he does not really eat international food.
    2. Andrew, University of Florida: He said that he does like some international food, but he does not have the need to eat it, so he does not have a problem with it. He also does not think that it is important to have international food here.
    3. Joseph, University of Florida: He has the same need, but he has a car, so every time that he wants to eat different food, he drives wherever they have it.
    4. Chris, University of Florida: He said that he also did not realize that there are not many international restaurants in Gainesville, FL. He does not eat international food because his favorite food is burgers, so he does not have the same need.
    5. Felipe, University of Florida: He said that he really likes food from other countries, but he does not eat that much, and even if he wants to eat international food, he can drive to the other cities where he can find.
  3. Who: All the people that I interviewed were from the University of Florida. Many of them do not have the same need, or even if they do, they can drive. So the difference between this interview and the other one is that this one people had cars, and they did not have a problem to drive to another city to eat international food.
  4. What: This is need is different based on people with or without a car.
  5. Why: having a car is the biggest factor.
  6. Inside the boundary:
    1. Who: College students, and people with no car.
    2. What: international people should be able to find international restaurants in Gainesville, Fl.
    3. Why: Students do not have cars or time to drive to another city.
  7. Outside the boundary:
    1. Who: College students, and people with a car.
    2. What: People who do not mind driving to another city to eat international food.
    3. Why: Only people with cars can find international restaurants.
