Bug List


  1. In the morning, the line at Chick fil a is really long because there are only 3 people working
    1. Probably many people do not want to work early in the morning or low pay.
  2. Classes every morning at 8:30 am
    1. I do not have control over my tutoring and classes schedule.
  3. The buses from dorm to class take more than 10 minutes to come.
    1. There are not enough buses, and the buses are not spread out enough.
  4. My 8:30 am class teacher is always late by about 3 to 5 minutes.
    1. Previous class before. 
  5. Rude workers at Grab and Go for athletes.
    1. One particularly worker overworked and is probably underpaid
  6. The Wi-Fi is horrible on campus, it is slow and it disconnects easily. 
    1. There are so many people using it at the same time.
  7. Women’s basketball locker room is always freezing and the water is cold.
    1. They want to keep the players awake to watch film.
  8. Loud friends when I want to sleep.
    1. Cultural differences or people being inconsiderate
  9. Roommates with too much energy at night.
    1. Different class schedules. 
  10. Bad taping before practice, the tape is folded and it bothers my ankles.
    1. Student does not know how to do it.
  11. Live on the third floor with no elevator. 
    1. The only dorm room open. 
  12. The dorm area is always dirty.
    1. Not enough people to clean all the dorm area. 
  13. The dorms have mold inside it.
    1. The dorms do not have a good air flow.
  14. Cannot listen to music while lifting weights.
    1. Trainer does not allow it because it can be distracting. 
  15. Not having Christmas break.
    1. Because basketball season is during Christmas break as well. 
  16. Not enough space in the airplane seats. 
    1. Fit more people in the airplane.
  17. Plates in the cafeteria are dirty.
    1. Dishwasher not good enough. 
  18. Cannot have dogs in the dorms.
    1. Some people do not like dogs. 
  19. Not enough places to park scooters. 
    1. Not enough parking lot for scooters. 
  20. People crossing the road in front of cars and scooters.
    1. Not enough crosswalks. 

My only challenge to write the bug list was to think about specific problems. I think there are many things that bug me every day, but it is hard to be specific about it. It is also hard to write about the problem, it is easier to just think about it. It was very difficult to find 20 things that bug me.

    Hi!
    I think I can agree with almost all of the things that bother you on this list. I feel like most of them are super centered towards UF students and the little annoying things we struggle with every day. The wifi on campus is something that really bugs me. Every time my computer disconnects from the wifi I have to make sure that I manually go and reconnect to it which can take out a lot of my time especially if Im trying to take notes in class or when i'm super stressed about doing an assignment.
    Im also really sad that we cant have dogs in dorms and I think it would help a lot of people especially freshmen to feel more at home which is something that a lot of students tend to struggle with. Overall I agree that it actually was super hard to find this many things that bothered me and had to try hard to find them all.
    I feel like this assignment was good to show that there are a bunch of things that bother us that could have pretty easy fixes, but they just aren't fixed.

Reading Reflection No. 3

What was the general theme or argument of the book?  Daniel Kahneman's "Thinking, Quick and Slow"  The general point around this book is that you have in mind two mechanisms that continuously battle for decision power.  How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003? This book helped me more financially when learning about the two main mechanisms that conflict with my decision making.  If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve? The exercise would have many problems that students would have to solve thinking fast. What was your biggest surprise or aha moment when reading the book? In other words, what did you learn that differed most from your expectations? Just learning to not overthink too much.

An unmet need that I found was the lack of international food in Gainesville, Florida. Gainesville is a college town where a lot of international people come to study or even just to leave there, but unfortunately, Gainesville does not provide them with food from their country. Gainesville also does not have anywhere where they can buy food to cook. There is not a specific type of customer. The customers will be from all over the world, so I cannot imagine only one type. What I have in common with the customers is that I am from another country and I live in Gainesville, I have the same need.
